Free Record Keeping Spreadsheet Template – For Property Investors and Landlords

We are delighted to announce that our latest FREE record keeping spreadsheet template is now available.  This is for the 2015/16 tax year. Here at RITA, we strongly recommend all property investors and landlords keep complete and accurate records, and our spreadsheet is a perfect way to achieve this.

There are many reasons why accurate record keeping is essential.  For instance, should HMRC enquire into your tax affairs, it is important to have all the information recorded and ready to supply on request.  In addition, should you be looking at selling your investment property, this spreadsheet helps you record your capital expenditure on an annual basis, ensuring you achieve the maximum benefit and help minimise your capital gains tax bill.

Throughout the year, we have received lots of feedback, and have consequently introduced a number of changes to the template this year.  Improvements to this year’s version include:

  • Addition of a profit per property column
  • Graph illustrations of property profits
  • Cell locking which helps prevent user errors
  • General improvements and updates to the design

Should you require our free spreadsheet template, please email us by clicking here.

We strive to respond to all template requests the same working day, however. please bear in mind our office opening hours of Monday to Friday – 09:00 to 17:00 UK time.
